Project Approvals

Mining operations at the MTW complex are approved (and as modified) under New South Wales State Significant Development consents SSD-6464 (Warkworth Continuation Project), SSD-6465 (Mount Thorley Continuation Project) and under the Commonwealth Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC), Warkworth Mine Extension approvals, EPBC No 2009/5081 & 2002/629.

PROJECT LICENCES

In addition to the above principle approval documents, MTW has been granted under the NSW Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1977 (POEO Act) the following Environment Protection Licences (EPL). These may be accessed below.
